CHILDREN IN NEED

On Friday 17.11.23 Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Llangynwyd will be supporting Children in Need by allowing learners to wear their own clothes to school! We ask that you pay £1 through GATEWAY (click here) so that learners can wear their own clothes.

There will be activities at break times and lunch to raise more money for Children in Need so we ask learners to bring spare change to school.

ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2023: 📢MAKE A NOISE ABOUT BULLYING📢

To start Anti-Bullying week we encourage learners to wear odd socks on MONDAY 13/11/23. 🧦🧦 This is to raise awareness that bullying is not acceptable and that it is everyone’s responsibility to make noise about bullying to ensure it does not happen.

We will be holding Codi Llais activities throughout the week to support the week!

YGGLLAN: School Uniform Policy

Dear parent/guardian,

As you are aware, the school is extremely proud of the standards and expectations that are set and the effort made by the majority of learners and families to reach them is celebrated. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you our school uniform policy drawing particular attention to the expectations for school gray jumpers only (no hoodies of any kind), dark socks (no white) and flat black leather type shoes.

We ask for your cooperation to ensure that these standards are reached by all of our learners please.

Thank you very much for your continued support,

Tîm Llan
