Year 7-11 Uniform Guide

  • Official school round neck grey sweatshirt or cardigan.
  • Official school turquoise polo shirt.
  • Black School trousers, straight legged with a loose hem line or a black appropriate length skirt. Jeans, flared trousers, leggings or skinny type trousers are not permitted. Learners will be required to change any trousers considered to be too tight/slim.
  • Black, grey or dark blue sock must be worn with trousers.
  • Thick black tights or ¾ socks to be worn with skirts.
  • Only naturally coloured hair is allowed. Hair style should be sensible – no tramlines, Mohicans, block colour etc.

Flat black, leather type school shoes

Unacceptable Shoes

The following type of shoes are not acceptable:

  • Canvas shoes
  • Trainers or shoes which display logos
  • High top style shoes / boots
Learners are not permitted under any circumstances to wear:
  • Make-up
  • Jewellery e.e necklace, bracelet, any earrings or body piercing
  • Painted nails, fake nails or acrylic nails

6th Form Uniform Guide

Our 6th form students are expected to uphold our high standards with regard to school uniform.

6th Form Uniform
  • A dark grey V neck jumper displaying the 6th form school badge.
  • A dark grey cardigan displaying the 6th form school badge.
  • A white short sleeved or long sleeved shirt.
  • 6th form school tie.
  • Black trousers or skirt (sensible, professional).
  • Black leather school shoes (no canvass shoes, trainers, high heels or boots allowed).
  • Hair of a sensible and professional colour and style.
Jewellery

The following are permitted:

  • One pair of earrings (studs) – to be worn only in the ears
  • One bracelet
  • A sensible number of rings

Nose piercings are not allowed.

Electronic Devices and Mobile Phones

Students in the 6th form are allowed to bring electronic devices into school, e.g. laptop, tablet, iPod and mobile phones, but must follow these conditions:

  • To be used only in the 6th form area.
  • The school does not take any responsibility if these items are stolen or damaged.
