YGG Llangynwyd in the Community
The school works very closely with many partners in our local community including:
- Transition Days with our Cluster primary schools
- Working together with our local Public Services
- Supporting local and national charities
- Contributing towards our local food bank
- Undertaking work experience with local businesses
- Partaking in activities in our local places of worship
- Supporting remembrance activities
- Contributing articles monthly to Yr Hogwr
- Performing concerts / musical theatre locally
- Volunteering for the Duke of Edinburgh Award
- Participating in a wide variety of local and National competitions
- Organising local trips
- Learners supporting Welsh nursery provision
- Cyfeillion Llangynwyd – Friends of Llangynwyd – staff and parents working in partnership
- Working with Urdd Gobaith Cymru
- Working with Menter Bro Ogwr
