Fel sydd wedi cael ei amlygu gan y wasg yn ddiweddar, mae’r byd ar lein yn peri risg cynyddol i blant a phobl ifanc.  Mae yn bwysig i ni gydweithio gyda’n gilydd i gymryd rôl weithredol i ddysgu plant am beryglon ar lein, sydd yn golygu addysgu ein hunain am y byd ar lein yma, sy’n newid yn gyson.  Mae hyn yn rhan bwysig o ddiogelu ein plant a phobl ifanc.  Dyma rhai dolennau defnyddiol gyda’r bwriad i’ch cefnogi ac eich hysbysu fel rhieni a gwarchodwyr.

 

As highlighted by the media recently, the online world is posing an ever increasing risk to children and young people.  It’s important that we work together in taking an active role in teaching children and young people about online dangers, which does mean educating ourselves about this ever-changing online world.  This is an incredibly important part of safeguarding our children and young people.  Here are some useful links & resources that aim to help support & inform you as parents & guardians:

Diwrnod Gwisg Anffurfiol ar gyfer Felindre 11/4/2025

8th April 2025

Er mwyn cefnogi elusen “Velindre” sydd yn agos iawn i’r ysgol ac sydd ar hyn o bryd yn cefnogi un o deuluoedd y staff, rydym am gynnal diwrnod gwisg eich hunain i’r ysgol ar DDYDD GWENER 11/4/25. Mae hawl gyda dysgwyr i wisgo gwisg eu hunain  (dim gwisg ffansi, flipflops/crocs/sliders) Gofynnwn i ddillad fod yn synhwyrol ar gyfer y diwrnod ysgol.

Gofynnwn i chi gyfrannu o leiaf £1 tuag at Velindre drwy fyndar School Gateway.

Gwarchodwyr Arholiadau / Examination Invigilators

6th February 2025

We are seeking to build upon our current team of invigilators by appointing additional dependable individuals to undertake the roles of examination invigilators during the school’s external examinations season. Working hours are flexible but we expect the individuals to be available for work during school hours during the period May to June 2025. There may also be the opportunity to accept additional invigilating work throughout the year during periods of internal examinations and also external examinations held during November, December and January.
