Learners will be welcome to dress up in fancy dress for the disco where there will be prizes for the best dressed in every year group! They are required to come to school in school uniform and a change time table will be shared with learners during the week.

We are asking you to pay £2 on School Gateway which will go towards the school’s charities.

The sixth form learners will be holding a sweet shop to raise money towards their end of year prom so we ask learners to bring cash into school!

GCSE Spanish speaking workshops by Cardiff University

Dear parent/guardian,

This is a message to inform you that your child will be attending GCSE Spanish speaking workshops which are held by Cardiff University. The project coordinator will be coming into the school to hold the workshops during your child’s Spanish lessons, and the workshops are free. (The learners will not be losing any other lessons by taking part in these workshops.)

The aim of these workshops is to help the learners to grow in confidence while speaking Spanish, to develop their oracy skills in preparation for their speaking exam in Year 11, and to encourage them to continue to study Spanish after they’ve completed their GCSE qualifications.

Here are the dates that the workshops will be held:

17/10/24

05/11/24

26/11/24

02/12/24

11/12/24

17/12/24

Thank you so much for your continued support,

Miss A David
