Estyn Report

Following Estyn’s recent interim visit, we are pleased to share the highly positive letter received by the school recognising the hard work, dedication and team spirit of our school community.

A huge diolch yn fawr to all learners, staff, governors and families for everything you do to make Llangynwyd such a great place to learn and work.

Amendment to INSET Days

We hope you enjoyed the half term.

There is no INSET day on Friday 27th February and therefore the school will be open as usual for the whole of this week.

The next INSET day is Friday 27th March.  – Apologies for any confusion.

Thank you for your continues support.

Children who missed the school flu vaccination programme can still receive their flu vaccine at one of our six Community Vaccination Centres (CVCs).

Drop-in sessions are available:

When: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Where: Any of our six CVCs. Locations and opening times are available on our website.

Parents/guardians do not need an appointment – they can simply call in during these times.

Letters are also being sent to families with unvaccinated children, inviting them to attend a CVC for a flu vaccination. However, if they would like their child vaccinated sooner, they are welcome to use the drop-in sessions.

Thank you for helping us share this important information and protect children against flu.

Wishing you all an enjoyable festive season and a healthy, happy New Year.
