Subject:<\/strong> Invitation to Take Part in Dissertation Research on Welsh-Medium Education<\/p>\n

Dear Parent\/Carer,<\/p>\n

You are invited to take part in a research study exploring parents\u2019 experiences with Welsh-medium education in Bridgend.<\/p>\n

This research is being carried out by Olivia Hitchcock, an MSc Education student at Cardiff University. As part of her dissertation, Olivia is investigating the factors that influence parents\u2019 decisions to enrol their children in Welsh-medium schools, and how engaged they feel in their children\u2019s education.<\/p>\n

The aim of the research is to better understand parents\u2019 perspectives and experiences, with the hope of informing future discussions around Welsh-medium education policy and practice.<\/p>\n

Taking part would involve an informal interview at a time that suits you. Participation is entirely voluntary, and any information you share will be treated with strict confidentiality. The school will not be informed about who does or does not choose to take part, and all data will be anonymised in the final report.<\/p>\n
